Gain Projector
The home theater systems have come a long way in recent years and video projectors are fast becoming the popular choice for home theater enthusiasts. You can enjoy the experience of the movie theater without leaving home. Projectors have dropped in price in recent years and the person average can now buy an affordable, high quality unit.
We currently do not three different types of video projectors available for film enthusiasts at home. They are the CRT, LCD and DLP, and will have to research each type and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. You have to decide what their needs and what your budget is before making a decision about what is best for your situation.
CRT cathode ray tube means and that have been in use for over 50 years. They are durable and reliable, and also provide excellent image quality. The image sharpness is excellent, but the brightness is not the par with the other two types of projectors. The main drawback to CRT is that very large and bulky so you need more space to use a CRT projector.
LCD or liquid crystal display can show a variety of colors and project a very bright and sharp. They are also very accessible as this technology has become so popular in recent years. Still, you have to replace bulbs that can often cost up to several hundred dollars. So if you decide by an LCD projector sure to take this into account and budget for this expenditure in the future.
DLP is for digital light processing and is the newest type of home theater projector and is rapidly gaining in popularity. DLP technology is as bright as the LCD, but has much higher contrast ratio. They are also very light and not take up much space. Like LCD, bulbs need to be replaced and are quite expensive.
